Russell Crowe and wife Danielle Spencer have apparently separated
Russell Crowe is rumoured to have split from his wife of nine years.
The Gladiator actor and musician Danielle Spencer, who tied the knot in 2003 and have two sons together, have separated amicably, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
The couple haven't commented on speculation about a split, which comes after rumours their romance was on the rocks this summer.
Russell, 48, is said to be throwing himself into shooting his new flick Noah in the US, while Danielle, 43, is at their home in Australia with their sons Charles, eight, and six-year-old Tennyson.
The couple first met on the set of 1990 film The Crossing and dated on and off until 2002, when Russell popped the question. They married at the Oscar-winner's farm in Australia in April 2003.
