Liam Neeson would like a comedy role
Liam Neeson is back as action hero Bryan Mills in Taken 2, but he confessed he'd really like to do a comedy.
The 60-year-old actor has played, as he says himself "Michael Collins, Schindler, Zeus and a Jedi", but he hoped his cameo in Warwick Davis and Ricky Gervais' comedy Life's Too Short would bring some more comedy roles his way.
Liam said he'd like to do a comedy, "if it was right", adding: "And if I thought I could do something, rather than just be funny."
But he revealed: "Nothing's coming in yet! I kept thinking 'Come on, bring it on!' but no."
The Irish star isn't sure what film he'll make next, but revealed he turned down the chance to play the villain in Darren Aronofsky's Noah's Ark epic.
He said: "For 10 seconds I was going to be Noah in Noah's Ark. But Russell [Crowe] is playing that now, I think. And they wanted me to play his nemesis and I thought, 'Ach! If you're not Noah, what's the point?'."
:: Taken 2 is released in cinemas on Thursday, October 4.
