Britney Spears and Taylor Swift are among the pop stars raking it in Hollywood.
While the queen of chat Oprah Winfrey topped the Forbes list of Hollywood's Highest-Paid Women with 165 million dollars, the X Factor USA judge came second after earning around 58 million dollars in the 12 months to May 2012, mostly from her Femme Fatale album and accompanying tour rather than her TV stint.
"Television and music were the best ways for women to make our highest-paid list this year and Spears works in both mediums," said Forbes.com writer Dorothy Pomerantz.
"Britney blasts back to the top this year with over 75 shows in the past 12 months. She also earns millions from endorsements and a fragrance line with Elizabeth Arden. Her latest album, Femme Fatale, earned platinum certification in the US."
Taylor - who will release her fourth album Red on October 22 - took third place, and is the youngest person on the list.
The country-pop singer pocketed around 57 million dollars from her successful Speak Now tour and hit singles such as We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and Safe & Sound, which featured in The Hunger Games.
Other singers who made the top eight of the list included Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.
