Mystery Jets drummer Kapil Trivedi doesn't like going out without his passport - in case he ends up on tour.

The London band are to begin an extensive UK tour in November after releasing their fourth album Radlands earlier this year.

But asked about the band's plans after Christmas, Kapil said: "We're not sure what's happening in December yet, I'm always the last to find out what we're doing.

"I just go everywhere with my passport in my pocket just in case there's a tour I've not been told about."

Mystery Jets are set to play in a cave in the Peak District called Devil's A**e.

"We've always wanted to play in a place called something like that," Kapil said.

" think it was a factor... it'll be exciting. And it'll be great to be on the bill with The Vaccines and Tribes."
