Pretty Woman, starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, has topped a list of favourite Valentine's Day movies.
The 1990 romance was chosen by over 3,500 men and women nationwide to be the country's favourite romantic comedy, beating other lovey-dovey flicks like Four Weddings And A Funeral, Sleepless In Seattle and Notting Hill in the Radio Times poll.
Film critic Barry Norman said: "What develops here is a modern-day fairy tale, a cross between Pygmalion and Cinderella for a raunchier age, an endearing love story in which masculine and feminine wish fulfilment are made celluloid."
Four Weddings And A Funeral, with Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell, took second place for both genders.
Other films which made the top ten include When Harry Met Sally, Some Like It Hot and Amelie.
