Host Bruce Forsyth and crocked contestant Laila Rouass should be returning to Strictly Come Dancing this weekend - but it is not yet known whether injured star Jade Johnson can carry on.
Bruce, who missed Saturday's show because of flu said he was looking forward to coming back.
"Thankfully, I am starting to feel better and look forward to getting back this weekend," the 81-year-old told the Daily Mirror.
He also praised Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman for taking over presenting duties in his absence.
Tess took on his role on the dancefloor alongside TV veteran Ronnie Corbett, who almost fell down the stairs as he made his grand entrance, as Claudia - who presents the spin-off show, It Takes Two - talked to the dancers backstage.
"Tess and Claudia were wonderful, and I was so grateful to Ronnie for filling in," he said.
Laila, who twisted her ankle before last Saturday's show and had to stop mid-dance because of the pain, is also expected to return this weekend, a BBC spokesperson said.
It is still not known, however, if athlete Jade will be fit to return to the dancing competition.
The long jumper injured her knee during the weekend's dress rehearsal so was unable to perform.
A spokesman for the BBC said: "She's being checked out by a doctor today and until that's happened we don't know whether or not she can go ahead."
