Michael Jackson tribute show Thriller Live will go on a 12-month world tour in response to huge demand from the late star's fans, its producers have said.
Thriller Live has been touring the UK since 2006 and is currently part-way through a successful run in London's West End.
Now a new production of the show will be performed worldwide, starting in Munich in Germany on July 21 and taking in most other European countries before travelling to the US.
At the same time it will continue its run at the Lyric Theatre in the West End, which was recently extended until January next year.
Producer Paul Walden said: "Since the tragic news from Los Angeles broke, we have been amazed by the reaction of the fans around the globe, and inquiries for Thriller Live to appear worldwide have been overwhelming.
"Against this background it seems clear that what Michael's fans want right now is to celebrate his life by continuing to listen to his music and to have a way to celebrate his legacy.
"We can think of no greater tribute to the memory of this global superstar than to continue to celebrate his life and his music as we have done for the past three years in Thriller Live."
Dates for the Thriller Live tour have already been confirmed in Barcelona, Cologne, Zurich, Vienna, Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Warsaw, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Berlin.
Further performances will be announced soon, including dates in the US.
