Kylie Minogue won two gongs at the BT Digital Awards, while Radiohead were named artists of the year.

Kylie was awarded best pop artist and best innovation for the site Kylie Konnect (kyliekonnect.com), where fans can create their own profile on the site dedicated to the pop princess.

Coldplay won best rock/indie artist and best official music website for Coldplay.com.

And Radiohead beat Leona Lewis, Bloc Party, Coldplay and Kylie to be crowned artists of the year.

In October 2007 the band invited fans to decide how much they wanted to pay to download their new album.

The celebration of digital music took place at the Roundhouse in London's Camden.

This year saw the band launch single Violet Hill on their website as a free download for six hours on the day of launch.

Matthew Dearden, marketing director BT consumer, said: "The music industry is continuing to evolve, with artists and record companies seeking new ways to communicate with fans digitally.

"The BT Digital Music Awards recognises the artists and those in the industry, both established and up and coming, who are delivering the best in cutting-edge digital music entertainment."

Hadouken! scooped best electronic artist/DJ and Wiley was named best urban artist after impressing the judges with the digital promotion for his single Wearing my Rolex.
