BRITAIN’S Got Talent 2014 winners Collabro have announ-ced a nationwide UK tour for 2015 and they will be joined by very special guest and runner-up Lucy Kay.

The operatic boy band and Lucy Kay will make a Valentine’s stop at the BIC on February 14.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 9am on Friday. Collabro were crowned the winners of Britain’s Got Talent earlier this month.

The five-piece musical theatre act impressed the judges and the voting public with their performance of Stars from the musical Les Miserables, while opera singer Lucy Kay was runner-up.

The band, which includes 20-year-olds Richard Hadfield and Matt Pagan, Michael Auger and Thomas Redgrave, both 24, and Jamie Lambert, 23, only formed a month before their first audition for the show.

Speaking about the next year’s tour, the band said: “We are so excited to be going on tour and to be joined by Lucy Kay too – what a treat. We can’t wait to sing live to our fans and show the UK what we have to offer.”

Joining Collabro is Britain’s Got Talent runner up Lucy Kay.

The Glasgow-based opera singer stunned the judges and audience at her opening audition performing Vissi D’arte and finished second with her rapt-urous and heartfelt performance of Nessun Dorma.

On joining the tour Lucy said: “I feel so very honoured and excited to be joining Collabro on their UK tour, I’m living out one of my dreams and I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a fun one.”

Collabro have yet another reason to celebrate as they have been signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco record label, part of Sony Music.

The Britain’s Got Talent and X Factor boss said: “Collabro were worthy winners of Britain’s Got Talent. I am delighted to welcome them to Syco, and am looking forward to them starting work on their debut album.”

The lads were equally excited about the deal, with Jamie saying: “Signing to Syco is the most incredible feeling. We are so lucky and proud to join a family of amazing, talented artists and colleagues and we are thrilled to be working with Syco.

“This is an absolute dream for us, and it’s only the beginning.”

Collabro are knuckling down straight away – they have already gone into the studio to start work on their debut album, which is due to be released on July 14.

Syco is also home to One Direction.

Former X Factor winner James Arthur confirmed he wasn’t at the label any more, just after fellow former show winner Leona Lewis left for a new deal at Island Records.
