Jamie Bell and Evan Rachel Wood have announced that they have separated less than two years after tying-the-knot.
The Billy Elliot star and the US actress married in October 2012, and had a son together in July last year.
According to E!, a statement from Evan's rep said: "Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have decided to separate. They both love and respect one another and will of course remain committed to co-parenting their son.
"This is a mutual decision and the two remain close friends."
When Evan, 26, gave birth in 2013, Jamie called his wife a "warrior" and praised her for "birthing our son so naturally and peacefully."
Last month, Parade magazine published an interview with Jamie, 28, about his new AMC TV drama Turn, where he said: "My wife's an actress as well. I'm so lucky that she isn't working at the minute so we can have this time together.
"And [it's] really important time together: the kid's like five months old and I just feel that it's so important that both of us are around so that connection is deep and made. So that's been great. I'm so fortunate for that."
He also told ABC News: "It's tricky, sometimes you are exhausted, actually a lot of the time you are exhausted, but I am very blessed. I have a healthy son, I have a great wife, I have a good job. I'm living the dream in a lot of ways."
Jamie and Rachel first met in 2004 on the set of Green Day video Wake Me Up When September Ends.
Evan previously dated shock rocker Marilyn Manson.
In 2012, the Across The Universe actress revealed she is still bisexual despite marrying Jamie.
When a fan took to Twitter after the nuptials, quizzing the star on what her marriage said about her sexuality, asking: "Does this mean u r not bi any more?" she replied: "No. It just means i am not single anymore ;)".
