Cat Deeley has revealed how much she pines for British pub beer gardens when she is far from home.
The So You Think You Can Dance presenter, who is originally from Birmingham but now lives in Los Angeles, said the British summertime is hard to beat.
Speaking on the red carpet at the opening night of Brit Week, a celebration of British film, TV, music, fashion and industry in Los Angeles, Cat said she still feels a pang for home.
"The cherry blossom comes out, then it's a bit warm and there are the beer gardens and people open up their crisps and share them out and there is a copious amount of rose and it's all those things, like ice cream in a proper cone with a flake."
The TV host, who married comedian and presenter Patrick Kielty in 2012, added: "I don't think anywhere is more beautiful than England when it is sunny and bright but unfortunately it doesn't happen very often."
Cat and Patrick were joined on the Brit Week red carpet by Harry Potter actor Jason Isaacs, former The OC star Mischa Barton, singer Seal and One And Only singer Chesney Hawkes.
Chesney admitted he missed watching footie with his mates while living in LA.
He said: "I miss the football things, like the FA Cup. I'm going to miss being around English people during the World Cup, because it's different here - it's sor-car [soccer], you know?!
"There's something about being with your mates in England watching the footie. That kind of thing I miss."
