Prosecutors have said a man charged with trespassing at Selena Gomez's home has been sentenced to 45 days in jail and ordered to stay away from the singer-actress.
Los Angeles district attorney's spokesman Ricardo Santiago said Che Cruz admitted trespassing at an initial court appearance and was immediately sentenced.
Cruz was arrested on March 30 in the former Disney star's guesthouse and was charged with one count of misdemeanour trespassing.
Santiago said Cruz was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to stay away from Selena and her home in Calabasas, California.
Authorities said the star arrived home on the evening of March 30 and called security after hearing noises on the property.
Selena rose to fame in the TV series Wizards Of Waverly Place and has also hit the headlines for her on-off relationship with fellow teen star Justin Bieber.
