Hemsworth: No rivalry for acting
Chris Hemsworth has revealed that he has some sibling rivalry with his brothers Liam and Luke.
The Thor star, who reprises his superhero role in sequel Thor: The Dark World, admitted that the trio are competitive over almost everything, except their acting careers.
"We're competitive as siblings are, in everything from sport - backyard cricket, football and surfing - to who's controlling the remote, when watching TV. In this industry, not so much," he said.
"All three of us understand the frailty and inconsistency of the work, and we have always helped each other with auditions and scripts we're working on. You're not in direct competition anyway, and it's more of a team effort with this than anything else. You understand what it's like to have that love/hate sort of thing where you'd do anything for them, but at the same time, the simplest thing can annoy you. You try to draw from experiences you've been through."
Tom Hiddleston, who plays his screen sibling Loki, added: "I've been on a road trip with Chris and Liam, and they're arguing, and then Luke just knocks both their heads together and says, 'Shut up'."
Chris said there is a "shorthand" to his screen relationship with Tom, after working together on three Marvel movies.
"There's certainly a shorthand with this being the third film we've shot together now. You don't spend a chunk of your shooting time getting to know one another. We picked up where we left off and developed a great friendship along the way. From the beginning, we were lucky - we had the chemistry and the same kind of enthusiasm," he revealed.
Tom added: "I love you, man! It has been an amazing adventure for both of us."
