The Wrong Mans gets right ratings
James Corden's new show The Wrong Mans was a ratings winner when it launched this week.
According to Digital Spy, it gave BBC Two its best comedy opener in eight years.
James' and Mathew Baynton's comedy action series peaked at 3.4 million viewers on Tuesday night (September 24).
It attracted an average of 3.1 million and an audience share of 13.5 per cent at 9pm, making it the best comedy opener since Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's Extras in 2005.
Executive producer Mark Freeland said: " Things go spectacularly wrong for Phil and Sam from here on in, so if you think you're having a bad time of it, The Wrong Mans proves there's always someone else deeper in where you really don't want to be."
