CBGB Zuckerman reveals wig pain
Josh Zuckerman has confessed he did not enjoy donning a wig for period movie CBGB.
The former Desperate Housewives actor joins an all-star cast including Alan Rickman, Rupert Grint, Malin Ackerman and Ashley Greene in the movie about the famous New York music venue, credited with being the birth place of punk in the 70s and 80s.
Josh said of getting into costume: "It was a whole lot of wigging, which I'd never done before, which hurts quite a lot. All the bobby pins!
"But it was so wondeful to see everybody in costume, it totally changes everyone's look and their feeling on set."
CBGB is credited with launching the careers of Debbie Harry, Iggy Pop, Patti Smith and The Ramones.
Josh said: "It was quite a blast to see them shooting, even parts I wasn't in, you get to see people playing The Ramones and what not.
"It is a terrific cast, and Randy (Rand all Miller) who wrote it and directed it did an amazing job.
"I know a lot of people from that era who were there, at the scenes, have said the same thing about the final project."
