Radcliffe fans stampede Venice Fest
Daniel Radcliffe has caused a stampede of fans with his appearance at the Venice Film Festival.
The former Harry Potter star was at the Lido for the premiere of his new film and its press conference when a throng of teenagers stampeded towards him in hopes of catching a glimpse of the actor, Deadline has reported.
Daniel, 24, was promoting Kill Your Darlings, due out in the autumn, where he plays Beat poet Allen Ginsberg.
Fans even reportedly tried to mob him in a public bathroom and attempted to get into the film's press conference by thumping on the walls and rattling the windows.
Daniel said: "I've been dealing with it in various ways since I was 11... I'm incredibly grateful for the swirl of support behind me. My fans seem excited by the unconventional path I am taking."
