Mel B has already been ruffling feathers on America's Got Talent
Mel B was reportedly booed on her first day of the America's Got Talent auditions.
The Spice Girl, whose real name is Melanie Brown, has joined the judging panel for the new season of the show alongside German supermodel Heidi Klum, US TV host Howie Mendel and shock jock Howard Stern.
She got a rude awakening on her first day when some of the audience members at the New Orleans auditions apparently jeered at her when she said she didn't like a local brass band, reported TMZ.com.
When Mel told the group that she isn't a fan of brass music, the audience apparently shouted, "go home" and "no respect".
Ahead of the auditions, Mel seemed excited about her new gig, posting various tweets about the show and photos of the set, while fellow judges Heidi, Howard and Howie also tweeted photos.
