Joey Essex opens up to Sam Faiers about his late mum
Joey Essex breaks down in tears as he talks about his late mother with girlfriend Sam Faiers on The Only Way Is Essex.
The TOWIE star's mum took her own life when Joey, who becomes emotional after looking at old photographs, was only 10 years old and his sister Frankie was just 13.
In tonight's episode (March 6) of the ITV2 show, he tells Sam: "I just wish I had a mum... I just miss her. If I see a picture, it just upsets me."
Viewers see Joey ask Sam to come with him to visit his mum's grave ahead of Mother's Day.
Joey has also paid tribute to his mother on Twitter, writing to thank fans for their "kind tweets" on her birthday.
