Halle Berry wants daughter Nahla to have a normal life
Halle Berry says all she wants is a normal life for her daughter.
The Oscar-winning actress had hoped to move to France with four-year-old Nahla and her fiance, French actor Oliver Martinez. But a judge in her custody dispute with Nahla's father, Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, prevented that last year.
Halle says she's now trying to figure out how to make life "more normal" for Nahla in the Los Angeles area, where they live.
Halle said: "That's all I really want, just normalcy for her."
Halle calls herself "resilient" and says she'll figure it out.
Gabriel and Halle settled their bitter custody battle last November, soon after Gabriel and Oliver got into a fight that left the model with a battered face and Oliver with a hand injury. Gabriel was arrested but not prosecuted.
Halle stars in the upcoming thriller The Call.
