Len Goodman shot to fame in his sixties
Len Goodman has admitted he's happy not to have landed his Strictly Come Dancing job earlier in life.
The 68-year-old dance supremo has been head judge on the BBC One show since it arrived on screen in 2004.
He told The Sun: "I didn't get asked to do Strictly Come Dancing until I was 60. I'd never done any TV - I was just a dance teacher in Dartford.
"If I'd got Strictly when I was 25, I would probably have been photographed staggering out of nightclubs with a dolly bird on my arm."
Len - who is also a judge on US show Dancing With The Stars - added: "I wish I'd had the common sense I've got now back then - but of course you can't have."
