Radcliffe: Why the gay questions?

Daniel Radcliffe has had a variety of roles since his Harry Potter days
Daniel Radcliffe can't understand why he is often asked about playing a gay man in Kill Your Darlings.
The Harry Potter star, who portrays homosexual beat poet and writer Allen Ginsberg in John Krokidas' film, realises it's a far cry from his role as the boy wizard but remains baffled as to why he is constantly questioned about it.
"You never see a gay actor getting asked what it's like to play straight - to my knowledge, at least, there is no difference in how heterosexual and homosexual people fall in love," he told Out magazine.
Daniel - who starred in West End and Broadway hit Equus, stage musical How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and horror thriller The Woman In Black - has enjoyed the challenge of playing someone completely different.
"I can see why people are sceptical about me playing Allen Ginsberg. I don't look like him, and I'm English and middle-class and not from New Jersey. But that's what I think is so exciting about it, because people have no idea," he said.
The 23-year-old also admitted that he can barely bring himself to watch his early performances in Harry Potter.
"I certainly wouldn't watch number three, I wouldn't watch the first two, I wouldn't watch four. I might watch five. I definitely wouldn't watch six," he revealed.
