Rachel Shenton has a new admirer in Niall Horan
Hollyoaks beauty Rachel Shenton has caught the eye of One Direction's Niall Horan - live on TV.
The actress was appearing on ITV's This Morning to discuss host Eamonn Holmes' cameo on the soap when the boyband star tweeted: "That girl on @itvthismorning is beautiful!"
Eamonn later said on the show: "Niall from One Direction has been in touch, commenting on our last guest saying how striking she was..."
Co-presenter Ruth Langsford added: "And she's single Niall, I've checked for you! That's all I'm saying!"
Before leaving the studio, Rachel - together with This Morning's Hub presenter Matt Johnson - sent a snap and message saying "Hello Niall!"
And Irish singer Niall replied soon after with a snap of himself back to the 25-year-old actress - who is bowing out of Hollyoaks as Mitzeee Minniver - holding a sign which read: "Hello Rachel!! xx"
Niall has previously been linked to X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato.
