Jennifer Lawrence has confessed she still struggles with nerves on the red carpet.

The 22-year-old Golden Globe winner has had her fair share of film premieres and awards ceremonies to attend, and is set to attend the Baftas after earning a best actress nomination for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook.

But the Hunger Games actress admitted that on the red carpet: "I either get really nauseous or really hyper, or I get Fame by David Bowie stuck in my head."

Jennifer added: "I'm such a huge fan, I've loved movies for so long - they changed my life, from being a girl and watching movies - so when you see the people who make them it's just overwhelming respect. I guess I do kind of still get starstruck , but more overwhelmed with respect for what they do."

And she also revealed she is still coming to terms with her Oscar nomination for the 2010 film Winter's Bone.

"It's not really something that you can get used to, the first nomination still hasn't set in yet, it just never settles in, like, 'Wow what an honour, this is incredible', but you never fully absorb it or get it. You stay in that state."
