Justin Bieber has declared he would never hide his relationship with girlfriend Selena Gomez.

The 18-year-old heartthrob - who has been dating the 20-year-old actress for around two years - admitted to Oprah Winfrey that dating in the public eye wasn't easy, but he insists on travelling with Selena, to make sure people don't think he's "ashamed" to be seen with her.

Justin has given an exclusive interview to Oprah, due to air on her Next Chapter show on November 25. In a preview clip shown on Good Morning America, Oprah asks the Baby singer about dating in the spotlight.

Justin said: "We just sometimes... we gotta take back exits.

"I never make [Selena] separate from me because I don't want her to ever feel like I'm ashamed of her. Because I feel like a lot of guys do that, especially in the business.

"They don't want to be seen with the girl, so they'll make them ride in separate cars. They'll do that 'get away' stuff. [Selena and I] get away where... you know... getting away together."

The Canadian singer and Selena first stepped out together as a couple at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscars party, confirming they were dating, but both are very private when it comes to talking about their relationship.

Justin's latest comments should end the latest speculation that the couple's romance is on the rocks.
