Hall's bid to move like Jagger ends

Axed Strictly Come Dancing contestant Jerry Hall was due to perform to a song by her ex-husband next week if she had stayed in the contest, her dance partner Anton Du Beke has revealed.

And Jerry's former spouse, Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger, had apparently been watching the show each week and voting for the pair.

The duo were kicked off the show on Sunday after failing to impress the judges in the "dance-off" with their routine to Simon and Garfunkel's Mrs Robinson.

Anton tells the new edition of Radio Times magazine: "We have a hotline to Mick Jagger - how many of the celebrities can say that? Mick watches and votes for us every week."

He said Sir Mick - whose band sold out two 50th anniversary shows at London's O2 Arena when they went on sale last week - thought Jerry was doing "wonderfully" in the competition.

Anton said that if they had survived, the plan was to perform "a paso doble to the Rolling Stones and the challenge (was) for me to move like Jagger".
