WEEKS don't come much better than this one for AFC Totton manager Stuart Ritchie.
Not only have the Stags had promotion to the Southern League Division 1 South & West confirmed, but they are going from strength to strength in the central defensive department.
Worries that powerhouse centre-back Ross Bottomley might leave Testwood Park have been soothed by news that he is ready to sign a new contract for the Sydenhams Premier champions.
And Poole Town skipper/defender Ian Richardson is on his way to join them.
"Ross had a bit of interest from other clubs, but I expected that because he's an outstanding player," said Ritchie.
"Knowing that he's staying means we can look forward to a good season rather than just hoping someone else will come in and do well.

"Ross should fit in well in the Southern League. He's big and powerful and will enjoy the challenge of standing up to the physical rigours week in, week out."
In former Salisbury City defender Richardson, the Stags have landed a player who lives right on their doorstep and will be playing cricket for Totton & Eling this summer.
