Winchester U13 cup squad have finished their cup run in real style! Luke Grant captained his side to a well deserved 24-5 hard fought win over Basingstoke in Sunday’s Hampshire final. Will Rostand got a hat-trick, two converted brilliantly by Joe Holland, and Charlie Toyne-Sewell added his own try, Basingstoke only managing to pull back one.
The game was even through the first half but Winchester dominated the second. Winchester have had a fantastic cup with a lot of hard games, but their determination and teamwork have driven them on, helped enormously by a great team of coaches.
