Skipper signs for next season

Comments (0)WINCHESTER City skipper, Dave Allen, is pictured with manager Andy Leader signing a contract with City for next season.
Allen has excelled at City this year, initially in midfield before converting to a striker during the season. He picked up the golden boot as the club's leading scorer in addition to the supporters' player of the year award.
Club Chairman, Derek Caws, right, said: "Dave has been fantastic for us. He has been one of our most consistent performers, and is also a great leader on and off the pitch.
"He plays an important role for the club, and we are delighted to go into the off season knowing that Dave will be here to lead the lads again next season."
