Eastleigh manager re-united with Butters

Eastleigh manager Richard Hill has appointed former Gillingham colleague Guy Butters as his assistant.

Butters resigned as Winchester City manager last week, having led the club back into the Southern League last season, and replaces Shaun Wilkinson as Hill’s number two.

Hill said: “I have known Guy for a long time, we were at Gillingham together and I have followed his career ever since.

"I spoke to him after his departure from Winchester and am delighted he has chosen to join me here at Eastleigh.

"He is somebody I trust, has had a fantastic playing career and I am sure we will work well together.''

Hill & Butters a good team.
Hopefully Siverlake attendances will increase due to this positive step by Eastleigh.
Many people seemed to stay away during the last couple of seasons under the Baird/Malone era.
