SYDENHAMS Premier Division outfit Fawley AFC have parted company with manager Paul Wiltshire.
Former team boss Richie Coxall and club captain Callum Earl have taken tem porary charge of first-team affairs.
A club spokesman con firmed: “Following a commit tee decision, we have asked for Paul Wiltshire to stand down from his position as first-team manager.
“This decision was taken with the best interests of the club going forward.
“It is acknowledged that Paul brought experience and football knowledge to Fawley and the club thank him for all the time and effort he put in.”
It is understood a number of applicants have expressed an interest in the job and the Oilers hope to appoint a replacement in the next week or two.
Ex-Saints trainee Wiltshire, above, worked alongside out-going manager Coxall for the final three months of last season and took full charge of team affairs during the summer while Coxall became club secretary.
After a promising start to the campaign under the for mer Eastleigh reserve team manager, the Oilers have hit a sticky patch, losing five straight games to slump to 16th in the table.
