James Vince suffered a disappointing return to the England Lions side as Sri Lanka A levelled their one-day series in Colombo.
Batting at three, the Hampshire batsman was out for a three-ball duck after openers Samit Patel (50) and Alex Hales (62) had put on 85.
Vince was lbw to medium pacer Dhanushka Gunathilleke as the Lions collapsed to 204 all out in just 42.1 overs.
Hampshire slow left-armer Danny Briggs (10-0-44-1) could not stop the hosts winning by four wickets, reaching their target with 47 balls to spare.
With the series now level at 2-2, the Lions stay in Colombo for Monday’s decider before playing an England XI in Abu Dhabi next Friday.
