This weekend the under 7 teams from Romsey Town Youth Football club continued to progress in their first ever season.

The Tigers played a close game against Chamberlayne Athletic. Romsey Tigers had more shots on goal but Chamberlayne Athletic's goalkeeper was incredible and made some fantastic saves, and Athletic also scored from a very well taken free kick and a penalty. Romsey showed some great passing, which was really good to see as they have been focussing on this at training and it resulted in goals. The Tigers' hard work in training is starting to show in their performance and they are developing really well.

The Pumas continued their impressive season with a hard fought match against Whiteley Wanderers Wolves, which saw plenty of goals for both teams in a very evenly matched game.

Despite being their first season together, the boys have gelled brilliantly and their performance has caught the eye of a number of local professional clubs, which has seen a number of the team being asked to train with them, and has also included an invitation for the team to play against a Portsmouth academy team at Havant & Waterlooville's stadium.
