Hampshire Hawks ‘can’t take Worcestershire lightly’ in Friday's T20 quarter final.

After being bowled out for just 74 in the opener, the Hawks bounced back securing nine wins from the next 13 games. Placing second and securing a home quarter final, James Vince said: “Playing here on Friday in front of a home crowd is big, our support has been tremendous this year, it's been as good as I can remember.”

Hants avoided a tough away quarter final to Lancashire but Vince isn’t expecting an easy game: “Worcester are probably one of the teams that have gone a little bit under the radar, we can’t take them lightly” but the captain believes “if we keep playing the cricket that we have been, hopefully that will be too much for Worcester.”

Throughout the competition Vince has led his side with the bat, as he became the top scorer in Blast history, he also ended a second consecutive season as top scorer in the country with 638 including seven 50s and a century.

This year's breakout star has been academy graduate John Turner taking 18 wickets at 11.11 the best average (of bowlers taking more than 1 wicket) of his debut season.
