England World Cup star Tammy Beaumont will be playing for the Southern Vipers in this year's Kia Super League.

The World Cup Player of the Year Tammy Beaumont as part of the ECB's 2018 Kia Super League player allocations.

Beaumont, 26, will join England teammates Danni Wyatt and Tash Farrant, who return once again this year.

She was instrumental in England's World Cup success last summer and a semi-finalist in last season's KSL with the Surrey Stars, who the Vipers play in their opening game on July 22.

She said: "I’m really excited to be a Southern Viper after a great couple of years with the Stars.

"I can’t wait to travel to Guildford for the opening game to face my old team mates!"

Each KSL team will play ten matches rather than five in the battle to reach Finals Day, and the competition includes a total of 32 matches compared to last year’s 17.
