Hampshire II completed a 311-run win against Worcestershire II at The Ageas Bowl.

Joe Weatherley, recently recalled from his loan spell at Kent, took 5-15 with his off-spin as the visitors were bowled out for 191 in the final innings of the four-day friendly.

Worcestershire had been set 503 to win after centuries from Ian Holland (159) and Tom Scriven (124 no).

Scriven, 18, faced only 147 balls and hit 14 fours and a six as Hampshire made 349-6 declared, following their 376 in the first innings.

He put on 88 for the fourth wicket with opener Ian Holland, who followed his first-innings 159 with 95 (137 balls (14 fours).

He added an unbroken 111 in 17 overs with Fraser Hay, whose 53-ball 64 not out included six fours and four sixes.

There were also runs for Tom Alsop (72) and Asher Hart (76) in Hampshire's first innings against an attack including left-armer Jack Shantry (4-49).
