Middlesex fast bowling prospect Tom Barber produced another blistering spell for Bashley (Rydal).
He ripped out Andover’s top order to eventually leave the Lions in ruin at 106 all out before the New Forest completed the formalities of an eight-wicket win in the top division of the Southern Premier League.
Barber sent Glyn Treagus’s middle stump cartwheeling and then removed Army opener Storm Green as Andover lurched to 10-3.
Matt Knight (33), Will Arnold (23) and Sri Lankan Chamika Karunaratne (22) led the middle-order resistance but Barber was too hot to handle and with Simon Ridley later taking three wickets without conceding a run, Andover lunched in crisis at 93-9.
They made it into treble figures, but despite two strikes by Karunaratne, Patrick Page (47) and Michael Porter (34) guided title chasing Bash to an easy win.
