Trojans had to hang on for victory over Battersea Ironsides after dominating their visitors over the first 40 minutes.
The Stoneham Lane side eventually won the game 25-22 but changes to the front row and a couple of yellow cards made the contest a lot closer than it needed to be.
Trojans got off to a great start with Dale Thorne making a break and slipping the ball to wing Jake Bailey to touch down. Neil Haworth converted before Battersea got on the scoreboard with a penalty but Thorne made another break to cross the line himself.
Haworth kicked three more points as Trojans continued to press and they were rewarded with two tries from flanker George Goff.
Fortunes changed after the break when Trojans made a change to the pack and were shown a couple of yellow cards.
Brave defending kept Battersea at bay but persistence paid off as the Londoners went over three times to get to within three points of their hosts who managed to hold on for a bonus point win.
Millbrook continue to look for their first win since the opening day of the season.
The Five Acres club have struggled to compete at London 3SW level following promotion.
But the weekend’s 49-17 home defeat must have been a bitter pill to swallow, having raced to a 17-0 lead after 17-0 lead inside 20 minutes with tries from captain Mark Randall and Mike McGrath with Rich Colmer converting with and adding a penalty.
