Southampton Darts Series: Paulsgrove’s Danny Smith won Week 3 of the top quality singles league – his second victory on the bounce.

Smith defeated Dave Bonnett from Botley 4-0 in the final and checked out on 157 during the evening at Bitterne Park SC.

However, the best finisher was Chris Duff snr who nailed out-shots of 158, 121, 103 and 101.

Hedge End’s Vandelow Page won the Plate competition with a 3-2 win over Dave Hayes from Swaythling.

North Hants Men’s Super League: Chas Barstow played his part in Romsey’s 6-3 win over Froxfield B – hitting the top average of the evening with 31.45 and throwing an 11-dart leg on the way.

Teammate Kev Lockett hit the highest finish with a 124.

Leaders Southampton defeated Shirley 7-2 and Lindford chalked up the same scoreline over Froxfield B.

Portswood, Shirley & District Mixed League: Bradley Kirk & Lorrie King won a charity pairs competition for New Waggoners at The Saints pub, Millbrook when they defeated Old Waggoners’ Val Emm & Alan Butler in the final.

Losing semi-finalists were Wendy Moore & Gary Buncombe (Bricklayers) and Tracy Martin & Sabrina Baker (Old Waggoners/Saints).

The evening raised £167 for Leukaemia Research with a special thanks to John Staples.

Southampton Clubs League: St Denys completed their unbeaten season with a 7-2 win at Shirley & Millbrook to claim the title with a healthy eight-point cushion over Bitterne Park B.

Top finish in the final week was Stuart Murray’s 124 for Bitterne Park D while Steve Gillingham hit a 101 out-shot for Shirley & Millbrook.

The postponed fixture between AFC Totton and Bitterne A will be played next week.

Lyndhurst Workmen’s Club League: Coach & Horses B got back to winning ways and lead Division 1 on games’ difference ahead of Brockenhurst FC.

Coach chalked up a 5-2 victory over Exbury while Brock beat Lyndhurst A 6-1.

Top finish of the week came from Coach B’s Ray Green and Minstead B player James White who both checked out on 115. Mailmans’ Bob Warren finished with a 112 out-shot.

Bitterne Park Men’s League: Bittern’s Ashley Watts teamed up with West End Brewery’s James Vincent to win the Blind Pairs competition at Peartree Inn. They defeated Junction’s Dan Day and Gene Bagley of West End Brewery in the final.

Bitterne Park Ladies’ League: Pam McNamara won the ladies’ singles competition at Nursling SC with victory over the home venue’s Louise Pearce.

Freemantle, Shirley & District League: Salmon Leap, Prince of Wales B and Saints A are the three remaining unbeaten team after a handful of fixtures.

Top finish of the week came from Pig ’n’ Whistle’s Colin Yendall who checked out on 135. Others: L Crompton 127 (Prince of Wales B), Steve Ballard 120 (Prince of Wales B), Don Chapman 115 (Waggoners), Dave Jones 112 (Waggoners), P Blake 106 (Swaythling), Craig Binge 100 (Salmon Leap).

Itchen & District League: Former leaders Vine made a rare slip-up, losing 4-3 at Spike A, to allow Roll Call to take spot. They earned their new lofty position with a 6-1 home win over Gardeners B.

Adam Kedge produced the top finish of the week with a 108 for Hop Inn and Harry Wheeler checked out on 106 for Roll Call.

The shortest leg was Ben Smith’s 14-darter for Grove – he also threw a 16 and 18-dart leg. Others: Liam White 17 (Yacht), Rob Downer 2x17 (Gardeners B), Sam Freemantle 18 (Yacht), Pete Broomfield 18 (Roll Call).

Hythe & District League: Andy Street threw the top out-shot this week with a 130 for Fawley RBL A. Carl Thompson hit a 121 finish for Hythe Club D and there was a 110 check-out for Darren Winter of Exbury B.
