HAMPSHIRE thrill seeker Gary Hunt has won his sixth Red Bull World Cliff Diving title.
The Southampton-born extreme sports fan clinched his latest title by finishing third in the penultimate event of the 2016 series in Sandanbeki, Japan.
Hunt entered the event knowing the title was his so long as he finished ahead of Mexican Jonathan Paredes. As the latter finished seventh, a podium place gave the 32-year-old another success.
Hunt's former Southampton Diving Academy colleague, Blake Aldridge, was fourth in Japan.
Hunt is now 290 points ahead of Paredes heading into the season finale in America.
