HAMBLE Club's winning start to life in the Sydenhams Wessex League has ended.
After 11 straight wins, they lost 3-2 at Christchurch on Wednesday night.
Grant Cormack, Luke Stone and Sam Thompson netted for the hosts with defenders Matthew Burt and Michael Byrne replying.
Laverstock & Ford took advantage of Hamble's slip up to move to within three points of the Division 1 table-toppers with a game in hand.

Joseph Craig scored the only goal as East Cowes Vics picked up their first Division 1 win of 2016/17 with a 1-0 home success against fellow strugglers Folland.
Duncan Bray, Sergio Caballero and sub Oliver Forbes netted as AFC Stoneham won 3-0 at Alton.
Jamie Waters replied as Downton crashed 4-1 at Shaftesbury.
In the Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division on Wednesday night, Alresford crushed Amesbury 5-0.
Steve Hall (2), Craig Harding, Sam Doswell and an own goal were on target.
