EASTLEIGH are returning home from their pre-season tour of Scotland today with a satisfying victory under their belts.

The Spitfires ran out handsome 3-0 winners at Lowland League outfit East Kilbride on Saturday - goals by new signings Jake Howells and Mikael Mandron sandwiching one by Andy Drury for the National League visitors.

Winchester City overcame Lymington Town 3-1 at the Denplan City Ground with new arrivals Stuart Green and Rudy Plummer both impressing.

Sam Wilson scored City’s first and set up the second for Plummer before Lymington were awarded two penalties – the first saved by Lewis Noice and the second converted. Plummer struck again with a header from Micky Hubbard’s cross.

New signing Zac Mouland scored his first Sholing goal after half-an-hour on Alton Town’s all-weather surface, but the Brewers hit back to win 2-1 through Curtis Thorn and Adam Bicknell. Two former Eastleigh youngsters – goalkeeper Josh Helm and Sam Jenman – also made their Boatmen’s debuts.

Blackfield & Langley suffered a slender 3-2 defeat at Southern Premier outfit Dorchester Town – Carl Preston and ex-Saint Jamie White (penalty) on target for the Watersiders.

Ex-Spitfire Chris Dillon cracked in Dorchester's opener off the underside of the bar and Aldo Lotes and Nathan Walker also netted for the Magpies.
