EASTLEIGH got their pre-season tour of Scotland underway at Hamilton Academical last night.
Chris Todd’s National League promotion hopefuls lost a close encounter 2-1 against a young Accies side at New Douglas Park.
Scott Wilson, the Spitfires’ new frontline signing from Weston-super-Mare, sandwiched his second goal of pre-season, scored on 64 minutes, between a brace for Hamilton’s Louis Longridge in the 43rd and 82nd minutes.
The Spitfires are enjoying a team-building day out today, white water rafting on the River Tay.
They get back to work training on East Kilbride’s pitch tomorrow morning in preparation to face the Lowland League side on Saturday (3pm).
East Kilbride were Lowland League runners-up in 2014/15 and finished in fifth place last season, losing 0-3 to Celtic in the last sixteen of the Scottish Cup.
