EASTLEIGH’S 2016 Fun Day promises to be the biggest and best yet.

The free-entry event, on Saturday, July 9, will be jointly opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of Eastleigh, Councillor Des Scott and Mrs Ve Scott, and the club’s much-loved founder Derik Brooks.

The day will include the launching of the Spitfires’ new kit for the 2016/17 Vanarama National League season and an over-50s walking football tournament.

As always there will be a host of family fun and attactions, including The Crestwood Steel Band, a vintage fire engine, hog roast and BBQ, bouncy castles and inflatables, stalls and traders, and the UK Garrison Star Wars 'Stormtroopers'.

Doors open at 12 noon at Eastleigh’s Silverlake Stadium, Stoneham Lane. Admission free.
