EASTLEIGH’S Jack Alexander has penned dual-registration forms for Evo-Stik Southern Premier outfit Dorchester Town.
The 18-year-old is set to go straight into the Magpies’ squad for their league trip to Slough Town tonight (Tuesday).
A former Scotland youth international, Alexander was on Bristol City’s books before signing for Eastleigh during the summer.
The young midfielder featured several times for the Spitfires in pre-season but has been on the fringes of the first-team squad since the start of the Vanarama National League season.
He was an unused sub at Southport and Altrincham during Richard Hill’s time in charge and played in Eastleigh’s 3-0 Hampshire FA Senior Cup victory over Cove.
Alexander joins young Spitfires striker Tony Lee on a dual signing at the Avenue Stadium club. Dorchester also include defender Chris Dillon, a member of Eastleigh’s 2013/14 Conference South-winning squad, in their ranks.
