EASTLEIGH kick off the build-up to the new Vanarama National League season with events on and off the pitch over the next five days.

On Saturday the Spitfires host their annual family fun day at the Silverlake Stadium (10am until late) and that is followed by the first home friendly against Scottish Premiership outfit Partick Thistle on Tuesday (July 14, 7.45pm).

The fun day will appeal to both ends of the age spectrum and everyone in between.

There’s an over-50s walking football festival, sponsored by Saga, while the young ones can amuse themselves with face painting, bouncy castles and a visit to the candyfloss stall.

The FREE admission event also includes a subbuteo competition, a signed football raffle and the launch of the Spitfires' new kit for 2015/16.

Following Tuesday’s friendly against Partick Thistle, the Spitfires go to Havant & Waterlooville next Saturday (July 18) before tackling further home tests against Newport County on Tuesday, July 21, and Oxford City on Saturday, July 25.

Then it’s off to Steve Claridge’s Salisbury on Tuesday, July 28, before the final home warm-up against Martin Allen’s promoted Conference Premier champions Barnet on Saturday, August 1.

Admission prices for Eastleigh’s home friendlies are £8 adults, £5 concessions and under-7s free.

A special discount ticket covering all four home games is available at £12 for adults and £7.50 concessions.

The Spitfires are also offering special Executive Club rates for the friendlies, priced £30 per head or £250 for a table of ten. Call 023 8061 3361 or contact kamor@eastleighfc.com
