Eastleigh have signed former Saints youngster Josh Payne on a one-year deal from Woking.
The midfielder, who has vast Football League experience, also had a spell at Portsmouth during his academy days before finishing his development at West Ham United.
Payne, who was born in Basingstoke, made 43 appearances for the Cards this season, netting eight times, before swapping Kingfield for the Silverlake Stadium this afternoon.
The 24-year-old has agreed terms and signs on a one-year deal with Richard Hill's side, as they look to build on their impressive fourth place finish in their first season in the Vanarama Conference.
After graduating from the Hammers' academy, Payne made two substitute appearances for West Ham's first team in the Premier League and made a single start in a 3-1 win over Millwall in the Carling Cup.
His time at Upton Park was intertwined with loan spells in League One with Cheltenham Town and Colchester United before playing for Wycombe in League Two.
After moving from London, Payne was snapped up by Doncaster Rovers before signing for Oxford United, where he made played almost 40 games.
In 2012, Payne switched Oxford for Aldershot and joined Woking in the summer of 2013.
Payne made 82 appearances for the Cards, earning three England C caps in the process.
