A TRIP to Wembley may not be on the cards but there was still plenty to celebrate for Eastleigh fans.
The Spitfires crashed out of the Vanarama Conference play-offs after a 5-1 aggregate defeat to Grimsby over two legs.
But the travelling band of 197 supporters who made the long trip north were singing their support for their team long after the final whistle.
The fans were applauded by manager Richard Hill as the final action of an astonishing season played out before Grimsby fans invaded the pitch in celebration on full-time.
It was the end of Eastleigh's first season in the Conference after the club's promotion from the Conference South last year.
