Andover teenager Charlie Waite just can’t stop scoring – whether he is on a football pitch or rugby field.

The 17-year-old son of Andover RFC coach Andy Waite made his first full first team debut for his dad’s side on Saturday and scored 20 points in the 50-3 victory over Teddington.

Charlie – who has put the ball in the back of the net six times for Eastleigh FC under-18s this season – even went over the opponents’ line after a sprint from under his own posts.

Also shining for Andover in the seven-try rout was 19-year-old debutant Taro Rowe.

Other scores came from the youngsters’ brothers, Niko Rowe and Tom Waite, and Tom Erskine, Sam Froggett (2) and Simon Preece.

Peter Symonds College student Charlie, who obviously has talented feet, also struck with a penalty and six conversions and was back in good form the following day with a try and 15 extra points for Andover colts against Farnborough.
