MITCH Wade must overcome his team captain John Barton to stand any chance of claiming a hat-trick of Tuesday Singles League titles at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club.
The pair, from reigning Super League champions Eastleigh Railway Institute C, meet in the Series 4 play-off quarter-finals at 8pm on Tuesday.
Wade, who won the first and third titles, is strong favourite to pocket the £100 prize money after finishing the ten-week competition a whopping 18 points clear of Neil Carroll.
Meanwhile, Barton, on £985, is on course to collect a bonus £1,000 in the £3,500 Roll-Up.
With just four of the 104 tournaments to play, he leads Nigel Spiers by £206.
