SHAUWN Brewer has enjoyed another visit to Broadlands Lakes.
He did another 48 hours in the pads in backwater and found fish feeding at 30 yards out, landing nine fish and a resident fish at 28lb.
Peter Drozd landed three fish to 17 lb on the pallatrax multiworm.
Syndicate member Jamie Chapman did three nights, catching 14 fish with the biggest 26lb 12oz using mainline bait and fishing tight to the island.
Joe Cross joined him in the same swim and also had eight fish, the biggest at 20lb.
Young Alex Easterbrook claimed a nice double catch at Broadlands Lakes.
He fished using pallatrax bait and a 360 rig he has just learnt to make, and landed two 20s in 24 hours. He started with a 24lb common, which he showed off in the clubhouse, before catching a mirror at 25 lb.
Jay Roche, fishing in peg 37 in carp alley, landed two fish, the biggest being 21lb using cc Moore.
There has been a fantastic head of 20s coming out at moment but still no signs of the bigger residents.
The Lakes’ 48-4-24 offer is still running; arrive Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday and fish two rods for 48 hours for only £20.
